This water weights aqua bag is a great addition to my home gym. It’s great for squats, lunges, presses, carries and rotational work. I like that it was easy to install and adjust the weight with the fill lines, making it suitable for both lighter recovery days and tougher workouts. The material feels thick and durable and the reinforced handles are sturdy and well positioned. No leaks so far and it stores easily when emptied. The only downside is the included pump, it works but it’s squeaky and pretty loud. Not a dealbreaker, but slightly annoying. Overall, solid and versatile piece of equipment, especially if you want something different from traditional sandbags or dumbbells.

Very well made. This aqua Bulgarian bag is great! Being able to add more water as needed to increase weight is perfect. My arms are short so I added Gym Exercise Handles to the straps to add length and grip.I am 68 and stiff in my shoulders, back and hips. Mobility, flexibility and strength are my goals.Learning the correct form for each exercise is crucial. Start out with a quart of water until you got it down. The swing around your back exercise (which blew my mind), will loosen up your back, hips and shoulders. Your core, front, sides and back will burn doing it. It's amazing!

My husband's physical therapist has him use this precisely BECAUSE the water sloshes around. (This assumes you do not fill the bag completely with water.) He has him do lunges and things while holding this because the sloshing water throws you off balance, and he is trying to teach my husband how to adjust for this, maintain his balance, and not fall. So it is excellent for this purpose. This particular bag is a lot less expensive than other brands, and we haven't had any leakage problems yet.FILLING TIP. Some people have had issues with too much air spurting out during the time it takes for them to remove the inflator and insert the plug. I didn't have this issue the first time I filled it, but I did the 2nd when I added more water. Then I realized I had NOT properly closed the valve. You press the button in the middle of the opening down to open it and allow water to flow in. But then you have to make sure you press the button down again so that it pops back up and closes the opening. THEN attach the inflator and add air. If the button is properly up, then only a tiny bit of air will leak out when you remove the inflator. You will have plenty of time to insert the plug. If the button is not properly up, the second you remove the inflator, a giant puff of air will come out and your bag will be saggy.

I was annoyed with the air coming out and went on to read the reviews and found that the directions didn’t mention pushing the water button in AGAIN to close it off. Now that we figured that out it works great!

The Yes4ALL Large Aqua Bag has been a fantastic addition to my workout equipment. The concept reminds me of Navy SEALs training, which adds a fun and motivating element to my workouts. The water inside sloshes around, forcing you to stabilize the bag with each movement. This activates small muscle fibers that traditional dumbbell exercises often overlook, making it a great tool for improving balance and core strength.The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the maintenance involved. You can’t leave the water in it indefinitely because it will go bad over time. While some people recommend adding bleach to the water, I’m hesitant to do so, as it might lead to faster corrosion of the bag itself.Overall, it’s a unique and effective piece of equipment, but the upkeep is something to keep in mind.

This aqua bag is designed with very tough thick clear plastic, has 2 rugged handles vertically positioned, and 2 rugged handles horizontally positioned. The fill valve at one end is also well designed and made it easy to fill with water and air, and easy to seal closed tightly. It can hold almost 50 pounds of water but I am starting out at about half full. The shifting weight makes it a little extra challenging to lift, forces you to lift more evenly, and engage your core more. I found a way to comfortably bench press this bag and have been using it for an hour worth of reps a few times a week. It takes a little getting used to the sloshing and shifting but pretty soon I was able to do fast reps with it. I've used it for curls, ab twists, and some clean and jerk reps and it worked well in this capacity. I find it easy to store away in my closet and like that I have the option of emptying it and collapsing it for even more compact storage. I really wanted a convenient and versatile way to lift in my home and this aqua bag fit the bill.
