Absolutely love them. I can’t stress how good these weights are. Don’t skimp on the price and go for the cheap ones, these are definitely worth every penny.

Arrived very well packed. Easy to setup and start using right away. Definitely met my expectations.One thing to keep in mind is that these are fairly large and awkward when using lower weights. They are slightly heavier than the marked weight using my scale.

I wanted to purchase some dumbbells to workout at home. I discovered these but hesitation set in when I discovered the series 552 were recalled due to issues with the adjustment system which caused the weights to fall out causing injuries. Pretty serious recall if you ask me. These are the newest versions of the Bowflex series 552. Despite the recall of previous versions, these new versions are much better and safer. I've been using these everyday since they've arrived and they're fantastic.Durable:They feel durable, comfortable during use. I do not feel in any way unsafe using these dumbbells.Size:The size of these may take some getting use to as these aren't shaped or sized like traditional dumbbells. However, after you've gotten use to them they begin to feel natural. These are small enough to be portable so you can workout while traveling. I can tuck these away underneath my bed or corner of a bedroom without sacrificing the space traditional dumbbells take.Performance:These are the first dumbbells I've ever purchased for home use. I've purchase other gym equipment except dumbbells. Usually, I am at the gym lifting weights versus at home. Adjusting from 5lbs - 52.5lbs is quite easy and doesn't take a lot of time. Some reviews others has compared these to other adjustable dumbbells that adjust both sides at-once versus each side. For me, it isn't a problem having to adjust both sides. In fact, if you turn one side clockwise and the other counter-clockwise simultaneously you can adjust the weights even faster this way versus adjusting one side at a time.Price:Bowflex are most expensive than other adjustable dumbbells. Overall, I feel the value is still there for these. So, you will just have to form your own opinion of these and how they stack up compared to other adjustable dumbbells out there.Final Thoughts:Overall, I am satisfied with these dumbbells. I would definitely purchase them again provided the opportunity. The performance and value of these aren't bad. Yes, they're priced more than other adjustable dumbbells out there but you just have the make the best choice for you. Bowflex provides a 2-year warranty on parts. I feel if you aren't slamming or dropping these like traditional dumbbells (which Bowflex explicitly states not to do so) then you should get plenty of years out of these problem-free.

These dumbbells seem high quality. The dials and their adjusting mechanism worked really well. Really like the 2.5 increments on the lower weights. Overall, these feel well made but ultimately they were too long for me and I (sadly) had to return. Found myself compensating with form on certain exercises to prevent the dumbbells from knocking together. i.e. chest presses and single arm rows. When placing the dumbbell vertically on thighs in order to get into position for some exercises, the small cap on each end was a little uncomfortable - it's workable, but it's a lot of weight to go into a concentrated circle, which left minor bruising the next day! Again this wasn't the dealbreaker, and you'd probably get used to it. The length was the bigger issue. Also, this is so subjective and shouldn't be the thing that keeps someone from buying these, but I find the "skeleton" style of adjustable dumbbell like these Bowflex to be aesthetically unappealing. Prefer other adjustable dumbbells that look and feel more like regular dumbbells. If you can make the size work then these are great. 5'4" female. I know plenty of women like and use these, so take my size with a grain of salt.

These are perfect. They’re a great investment that continues to pay off as you progress and increase the weight you use. They save a ton of space compared to having multiple sets of dumbbells and eliminate the hassle of switching between them. The quality is excellent as well. Very satisfied with them.

I bought these for days I wanted to workout but didn’t have the hour to get to the gym before they close , very versatile for many exercise the only problem that you may encounter is they are very bulky but you can still do most upper body exercises just may have to modify how far away from your face the weights are

My husband and I love these. The value for what you get can’t beat it. My husband and I are obviously in two different leagues when it comes to to lifting and it would have been so expensive to buy us each the sets we need. The fact we both can use them is what sold us. We also got restate bands in case my husband needs to go higher. These ones are reallly good quality. Easy to adjust. We shopped around to make sure we got decent ones and these exceeded our expectations.

Excellent dumbbells. Secure weight discs no matter what setting they are on. They may be a little more expensive than other brands, but you get what you pay for.

After reading through reviews from 5 star to 1 star, I was worried. Forget that BS! Dude, these are awesome. I use them 5 days a week. You get a pair of them, and they go from 5lbs to 52.5lbs. Great for getting started. They will last you a long time. Once I get past their weight max, I will 100% be buying the 1090 set.

Contemplated on which brand of dumbbells for a while and finally decided to go with Bowflex as i would rather pay a little more and get Bowflex equipment I feel I can trust rather than cheaper options available. Product is well made and feels very sturdy when using. 15 different adjustment settings from 5lb to 52.5lb takes the place of 15 dumbbells in 1. Adjust the weight within seconds by rotating knobs and you’re ready to go. The plates make very little noise when in use but no where near as much as I expected based on other reviews. I wouldn’t had even brought it up had I not read it in other reviews. Definitely not enough noise to be an issue. Overall very happy with purchase. Hopefully they hold up as well as other Bowflex products I have purchased in the past. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.
